Christmas Angels
If you would like an opportunity to give to our students and their families during the Christmas season, we have two options:
Donate a gift to our Housebuck Store and/or Market for students elementary through junior high or an educational toy to children in our preschool program. These are incentive programs to motivate students to earn prizes by going “above and beyond” during tutoring sessions. Below are items that students have suggested that we sell in our stores. You are welcome to purchase them and drop them off anytime before Friday, December [insert date] at our location 9am-5pm: 777 E. Alosta Ave., Azusa CA 91702 (not a mailing address)
If you would like your place of business, church, or surrounding community to get involved along with you on behalf of NHH, we would be delighted to drop off a donation bin for gifts. We would also supply a sign-in sheet for the donations, so that individuals may receive from NHH an acknowledgement for tax purposes. Please contact us at donate@onhh.org for more information.
Every year during spring break, we devote our efforts to getting our students on university campuses so they can get a first hand perspective of what it means to really be college bound. In most cases, we use public transportation but we would love to raise enough money to rent a bus! We estimate the costs of coordinating multiple visits for our over 100 students to be upwards of $5000.
