Thank you for coming to our Annual Fundraiser “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow!”
Once again, we are thrilled to report that not only was our annual fundraiser a fun and inspiring night, but it was also a successful capital raising event! We just want to extended one more heartfelt thank you to all those who attended and donated. We are grateful for your continued partnership and support as together we reach our goal of helping at risk Azusa families so they may thrive academically and socially. Please scroll through to see pictures and read stories from the event!
Just like Executive Director Jennifer Hicks shared, if you are still looking to invest your "time, talent, or treasure", please be sure to contact us. You can click HERE to give financially or click HERE to look at volunteer opportunities. Of course, feel free to email jennifer@onhh.org if you have any questions!
Kimbery and Miguel were the dinner hosts. Wasn't it fun to reminisce about 1997 when Neighborhood Homework House (NHH) started? Even though both Miguel and Kimberly wouldn't be born for several years after that!
Keeping with our theme, we heard about NHH "yesterday" by catching up with a former student Shaila who now runs our ballet folklorico dance club!
Some of Shaila's amazing dancers!
NHH "today" was told through experiences of Fabian a current student in our teen program. He told us his inspiring story of how, through the help of our Lego Robotics Club, he has a dream of going into engineering.
Long time parent in our program, Alicia, shared about her dreams for NHH "tomorrow" where any parent can come and get resources. She also shared her dream for her own kids to one day give back to the community through involvement in NHH.
Executive Director, Jennifer Hicks, gave an inspiring message about investing our time, talent, and treasure into the work NHH does.
We were very excited to share this night with our founders! Pictured here is Kerry Freeman and Janet McDonald. Scroll down to see more pictures of the night!
